About Teracom Group

The Teracom Group offers a wide variety of communication solutions for radio and TV. The main productareas are Pay-TV, radio and TV broadcasting, capacity services for data transmission and co-location and service. The business is run in Sweden, Denmark and Finland through Teracom, Boxer and PlusTV.

Teracom AB

Teracom AB owns the group infrastructure consisting of a broadcasting network for radio and tv, a backbone network that links approximately 600 broadcast stations and a special network for monitoring operations. The Kaknäs tower in Stockholm is the hub for the radio and tv network, with coverage of up to 99,8 percent of all Swedish households. The company also offers network services för data communication as well as co-location and service.

Teracom A/S

Teracom A/S owns and operates the Danish terrestrial network. The TV network fully made the digital transition in 2009, and the network also broadcasts digital radio (DAB) and FM radio. BSD also offers services to Danish telecom operators.

Boxer TV-Access AB

Boxer TV-Access AB compiles, markets and sells attractive program packages for terrestrial digital tv in Sweden. Boxer enters into agreements with program companies for their channels to be included in the program packages. Program packages are sold primarily via tv retailers.

In 2008, Boxer was licensed as a Pay-tv operator in Denmark offering both digital tv for the population and digital boxes for terrestrial tv. In Denmark , Boxer will develop, support and act as a Pay-TV operator in the network for terrestrial digital-tv.

Digi TV Plus Oy

Digi TV Plus Oy (PlusTV), which is 51 percent owned by the Teracom Group, is the leading Pay-TV operator in Finland. Like Boxer Sweden, PlusTV packages, markets, sells and administers program channels that have a permit to broadcast Pay-TV in the terrestrial network.

Ownership

Teracom is a Swedish limited liability company wholly owned by the Swedish state. The owner is represented by the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications. The Boxer TV-Access is owned by Teracom AB.
